The Yeastar GSM Module is an expansion module that adds cellular network connectivity to a Yeastar IP PBX. It provides a single GSM voice channel that lets the PBX make and receive calls over the GSM mobile network using a standard SIM card. This is especially useful in locations without fixed telephone lines or as a backup/PSTN failover option to reduce dependency on VoIP or fixed PSTN trunks.

Key Functions

  • Connects a standard SIM card for cellular network access.
  • Enables PBX to route calls via GSM network (incoming and outgoing).
  • Acts as a redundant/backup trunk when IP or PSTN service is unavailable.
